Membership in the Seattle Seafair Clowns can be a very rewarding experience on many levels. If you've seen us in a parade, on the trucks or out around town it looks like a load of fun, and it is.
While it looks like fun there is alot of work that goes on behind the scenes year-round to ensure that we are able to meet our goals and continue to grow as an organization. We don't get paid for this, and, more often then not you'll be paying for the priviledge of participating.
If you are considering joining the Seafair Clowns ask yourself the following:
Why do you REALLY want to be a clown?
What would the public gain as a result of you becoming a clown?
Do you have the available time on weekends, weeknights, and holidays to devote to the club?
If someone demands "Make me Laugh" - Are you quick with a joke or do you dodge the question?

membership committee!
