The 44th Annual Seafair Milk Carton Derby will take place on Saturday, July 12. Nearly 100 colorful milk carton boats of all shapes and design will compete on the waters of Green Lake for fantastic prizes and bragging rights. The Derby is highlighted by a full day of "competition" as children, adults, families and businesses build milk carton watercraft for show and racing.

Enjoyed by thousands of folks across the Puget Sound area and beyond, this free event celebrates Ballard and its heritage, as well as the unique community mix. First and foremost, the festival is all about fun: great music, local brews, kids activities and quality arts and crafts. And don’t forget pounds and pounds of delicious seafood!
